Their Story Information
Most of the Pension information is of Edna Swinson Pridgen. Here is some of the information found in other records. In the 1870 census, Ednah and Ransom’s surname was Pridgen but in the 1880 census they went by the Woods surname. Edna died Feb 26, 1920 and her parents were Allen Swinson and Nannie Best. Jordan Blount lived 3 properties down on both 1870 and 1880 censuses.
